About this service

I offer one-to-one online tutoring for students from elementary through high school, in both English and French. Subjects and levels (Ontario or Quebec Curriculum ONLY): - Biology: Grades 9–11 - General Science: Grades 9–10 - Chemistry: Grade 11 (foundational level) - Mathematics: Grades 1–11, including Grade 11 Functions (MCR3U) - English Language Arts: Grades 1–12, including essay writing, reading comprehension, and literary analysis - French: Core and Extended, including French Immersion Who this is for: Students who are struggling with a specific subject, preparing for tests or exams, or simply wanting to strengthen their understanding. I work with all age groups from elementary through high school. My approach: I do not assume a student's difficulty comes from a lack of ability. Most of the time, it comes from a gap earlier in the foundation, or from material being explained in a way that never clicked. I take the time to find that gap and address it, rather than repeating the same explanation. I focus on building both understanding and confidence. What you should know before starting: Sessions are online only, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST. I hold an MSc in Microbiology and Immunology and an Honours BSc in Biomedical Science from the University of Ottawa.
