I am a punctual, dedicated and determined ESL and Islamic studies tutor. I specialize in teaching English as a second language, from beginner level up to the IGCSE exams, focusing on all skills (speaking, reading, writing, and listening). During lessons, I focus immensely on conversation and listening, while saving writing practice as homework (so that not a minute is wasted during the lesson). Though I believe learning grammar is greatly essential, I assert that its practical understanding and application is integral for English proficiency. When it comes to Islamic studies, I specialize in teaching Aqeedah and Seerah, as well as Tafseer and Islamic ethics. I consider Islam a practical way of life, not just another subject to learn. My focus is on children and teenagers, specifically girls and young women, as I believe they have the capacity to change the world for the better. My lessons with girls focus on life goals, being a Muslim woman, Hijab as a dress code and behavioral etiquette, time management, interaction with the opposite gender, and any life skills I deem important for the Muslim woman to have in life.
